We are thrilled to announce the release of our second carbon accounting course – Navigating Sustainability Frameworks and Standards.
Just like our first online course, it’s totally free and designed to help you gain the skills to decarbonise with confidence.
We explore the frameworks and standards that guide sustainability, and more specifically, greenhouse gas or carbon accounting.
Throughout the course, we will answer the following questions:
What are frameworks and standards?
What are three widely used frameworks and standards for organisations?
What are three widely used frameworks and standards for products?
What are some of the relationships between frameworks and standards?
How can you choose the right frameworks and standards?
The free carbon accounting course is run by Bengt Cousins-Jenvey, who has worked in varied climate-related roles over the last fifteen years. He has consistently applied new thinking about how pollution, resource and waste targets are set and met in the context of cities, masterplans, mega-projects, buildings, services and a wide range of products.
Don't forget, to best support your learning, your feedback is key. After completing the course, please spend two minutes filling out our survey and make suggestions about improvements for our future modules.
In addition, we are building a ‘Knowledge library’ within our blog on our website. The purpose of this resource is to provide you with useful and educational articles, including step-by-step guides and tips to help you along your carbon accounting journey.
Feel free to reach out to immy.m@xtonnes.com, or use the chat function on our website, with your recommendations for future topics.
In the meantime, happy learning!
