Why is personal data collected?

  • To provide the xtonnes core functionality, like responding to requests, setting up your profile, taking payments 

  • Providing you with our newsletter, white paper and/or other marketing materials and facilitating social sharing

  • Analysis for business reporting and providing personalised services, for example to understand user preferences better, and tailor communications, information and services accordingly

  • Other business purposes like fraud prevention, audits, or tracking the success of various campaigns and initiatives 

  • Aggregating personal data to remove any personal  identifiers 

Why is engagement information collected?

We use engagement information to ensure that our service to you functions properly, to constantly improve the design, functionality and performance of the xtonnes software, and assist us with resolving questions.  We may also use cookies or other technologies in online advertising to track responses to our ads.

How is personal data collected?

We collect personal information through things like when you sign up for a newsletter, register an account to access our services, request a software demo, attend one of our events or webinars, contact customer service, download or access xtonnes content (such as a whitepaper), participate in a survey, apply for a role, or make a purchase.

How is engagement information collected?

Certain information is collected by most browsers or automatically through your device, such as your Media Access Control (MAC) address, computer type (Windows or Mac), and various configurations. When you use the xtonnes software, we and our service providers may track and collect usage data, such as the date and time your device accesses our servers and what information or files have been downloaded to the software based on your device number.

 

Our website also uses cookies - pieces of information stored directly on the computer that you are using. Cookies allow us to collect information such as browser type, time spent on the services, pages visited, language preferences, and other traffic data.
